How old do you have to be to work at Ruby Falls?

The minimum age for working on the Outside Services Team, Retail Team, and Tour Guide Team is 14. The minimum age for positions on the Food Services Team is 16. Applicants under 18 and their parents may familiarize themselves with federal rules and regulations about working by visiting the Youth Rules! website.

What is the status of my application?

Applicants may check the status of their application by calling 423-800-0567. You will be prompted to leave a message with the following information: full name, contact number, date when applied, and method of application. Please speak clearly. The voicemail is checked once a week during peak season and top applicants are contacted to set up an interview.

How long do you keep applications on file?

Applications and resume are kept on file for 1 year. Applications will be kept active for 3 months. If you wish to reapply for employment after 3 months, please resubmit an application.

What if I have previously worked at Ruby Falls?

Past employees who wish to work at Ruby Falls again must reapply if more than 1 year has passed since your last date of employment. Please indicate on the application that you have previously worked at Ruby Falls. If less than 1 year has passed, please email the human resource department.

What are your hours of operation?

Ruby Falls hours of operations are Saturday through Friday from 8:00am to 8:00pm EST. Preference is given to employees who are available on the weekends and major holidays.
