Ruby Falls Media Admissions Policy
The Ruby Falls media admissions policy provides members of the working media the opportunity to become familiar with our activities, tours and events by experiencing a complimentary visit. This courtesy is extended only to active members of the working news media and one guest. We are unable to extend complimentary admission to administrative, sales, promotional and/or retired personnel. The qualifying media representative MUST accompany his or her party, and a photo ID is required to acquire tickets. Complimentary admission is available to media in the following categories:
Print Media
Publishers, editors, reporters, writers and photographers
Complimentary admission is provided to freelance writers and producers with written confiramtion from the assigning news outlet.
Broadcast Media
News directors, public affairs directors, program directors, assignment editors, producers, and on-air personnel including anchors/hosts/DJs/reporters and photographers
Online Media
Digital influencers, including bloggers & social media influencers are considered on a case-by-case basis. Influencers need to have significant social media following, reach and engagement rate to be approved.
Requests that do not comply with this policy will not be honored.
A maximum of two complimentary tickets annually will be granted to qualifying personnel.
Request tickets by submitting the Online Media Ticket Application below at least four-business days in advance of your visit. Requests for weekend visits made after noon on Tuesday will not be granted. For holidays observed on Mondays, requests should be made by noon the previous Tuesday. Please allow 48-hours for processing. Visits are confirmed by email. Office hours are 8:30am to 5pm (closed on weekends and holidays).
MEDIA ON ASSIGNMENT: News media on assignment must request interviews, photo and filming sessions in advance to ensure availability of venue and Ruby Falls personnel. Media on assignment will be escorted during their visit by Ruby Falls personnel.
